David Thompson joined ACORN International in 2019 as the Research Director. In this role, he has helped to research issues like rural electric coops and the local hospital conglomerate. In addition, he has worked with Wade Rathke to coordinate trainings and talks with young people along the East Coast. He seeks to rebuild ACORN, beginning with his work to rebuild Local 100 chapters in New Orleans and other southern locations.
