Frandie Batista worked with ACORN as a high schooler. He never did field organizing, but helped with child care worker outreach and for MHANY on loan counseling. After ACORN ended, he took a break and then later got back involved with NYCC, where he is now Deputy DIrector of Operations. In this interiview, he discusses feeling grateful for the life changing opportunities ACORN afforded him, how he love the culture and staff support, and how that has carried over to NYCC.
