In this interview, Ann Sullivan speaks about her initial time working to train folks nationally (even though she had little training!). She discusses the Long Island ACORN organization and the many victories they had in housing, tenants rights and politically. She gives advice for new organizations, and critiques the lack of base-building/leadership contact she sees with most organizations she works with today. Finally, she talks about the end of ACORN, and start of successor-organization NYCC.
