Wendell Gaskill was an active member/leader in NY ACORN and the co-chair of the Brownsville ACORN chapter in the early 1990s. In this interview, he speaks about the role ACORN played in his life and in helping others, and about the need to organize people together to have an impact and make change. He relays an incident where they all got off a plane in support of a member who was asked to leave and how solidarity was key in ACORN.
