This is Part 1 of Marie Pierre’s oral history: The second half of this interview got deleted, so she was interviewed a second time to complete the oral history. In this interview, Marie Pierre touches on how ACORN (MHANY) helped her personally with housing, issues that came up at National Executive Board meetings, what led to the demise of ACORN, and what she thinks about the ACORN successor-organization NYCC, which she is currently involved in. She also briefly discusses her favorite actions, including such one around Wells Fargo.
