Mildred Brown was an ACORN member/leader in Philadelphia, as well as ACORN National Board President and Treasurer. She also worked for 16 years on staff for Executive Director, Steve Kest, in ACORN’s DC Legislative Office. In this interview, Brown speaks about her role with ACORN both in Philadelphia and nationally. She specifically talks about about ACORN’s tent city action, and other issues she worked on. She discusses her role on staff and expresses strong feelings about the demise of ACORN.
